Michael Mirer is a criminal defense attorney who concentrates his legal
practice in the area of criminal defense. He has established a highlysuccessful
criminal defense trial practice in South Florida. Prior to entering private
practice, Mr. Mirer was an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County
where he prosecuted all levels of crime and was ultimately appointed to
the Career Criminal Robbery Unit.
He has extensive trial and courtroom experience, including over 100 trials.

other attorneys as part of a Continuing Legal Education program and has
served as a judge for mock trial competitions at the University Of Miami
School Of Law. He was most recently asked to join a panel of experts to
provide legal opinions for criminal law treatises.
Mr. Mirer received his B.A. degree from the University of Miami and his
J.D. from the University of Miami where he graduated Cum Laude. He is
a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the
Southern District of Florida, the middle district of Florida and the United
States Supreme Court.
